SUPER-WOMAN began slowly and was forced to come around the leaders, but finished fastest of all. THE BAGGAGE raced well and outstayed DOUGH GIRL. The latter set a fast pace and tired. IRELAND closed a big gap, but was tiring at the end-NONUS closed up steadily in the last eighth and outgamed FREE STATE. TATTLE made a rush midway of the second turn, but, tired suddenly. AMACKASSIN, under a skillful ride, forced the pace to the stretch turn, where he raced into the lead and easily outstayed TARASCON through the last eighth. TARASCON finished fast and got up in the filial stride to beat MAY W. The latter set a fast pace to the stretch and tired. LITTLE MAUDIE finished fast. LOVELY and CHERUBINO showed speed. CLARK tired after setting a fast pace and racing BLAZES into defeat in the first three-quarters. PAUL JONES ran well and finished gamely. DONNACONA ran well to the stretch.
