LOUISVILLE TO WINTER MANY HORSES LOUISVILLE, Ky., November .10". There will be lio scarcity of thoroughbreds here all winter as stable room lias been reserved at Churchill Downs and Douglas Park for a couple of hundred horses, including those of W. V. Thraves, in charge of trainer Kay Space; Montfort Jones, under care of F. A. Galior; Dan Lehan, B. J. Brannon, George J. Long. John E. Madden, Ahern and Boyle, F. J. Kclley, Dick Brooks and numerous others. Most of these horses will remain at Churchill Downs until the task of reselling the track is begun, when they will take temporary quarters at Deuglas Park. The latter, course is even better adapted for wintering horses than the Downs because of ite large barns, which enable trainers to give thoir charges plenty of exercise in all kinds of weather.
