ROYAL-BRED HORSE SELLS FOR 0 From London comes wonl that Pintadeau, .chestnut gelding which belonged to the king at one time and ran a good fourth to Tagalie, Jaeger ,iind Tracery in the Derby of 1012, realized the small price of 0 at a recent sale at the Rugby market. i With the exception of Minster Bell, which was sold at Newmarket for 0 a couple of years ago, Pintadenus price is a record. The Equine Defense League, which purchased the animal, has presented him to King George V., and the horse will be sent to Sandrlngham to end his days In comfort in the royal stables. By the late King Edwards celebrated horse Florizel II. Guinea Hen, Pintadeau ran in the kings colors .for three years and did fairly well. As a three-year-old he won the Mlldenhall Plate and the Payne Stakes at Newmarket, 1012, and following that ran fourth in the Derby. Subsequently the horse turned rouglsh and was sold put of the royal stables to J. Baylls, a bookmaker. Bnylli tried Pintadeau in selling hurdle races with indifferent success, and ultimately gave the horse away in dkfiMt.
