PURCHASES KINGS PLATE ELIGIBLE OTTAWA, Ont., December. 4. James J. and Joseph Gleeson have recently bought the thoroughbred mare Media, by Meclick Fanny Kemble, and foal by Anmer, from the estate of the late Dr. Manley, Kingston. Tlie foal is a six months colt, chestnut in color and an excellent specimen. Anmer is the horse sent out to tlie Canadian Thoroughbred Breeding Bureau by His Majesty King George. He is royally bred, being a son of Florizel II. Guinea Hen, by Gallimile.
