T. P. HAYES ENGAGED BY WHITNEY LEXINGTON, KY., December 6. When he was here several days ago to inspect the stallions, mares and weanlings at Harry Payne Whitneys Kentucky branch of the far-famed Brookdale Stud, James Rowe arranged with Thomas P. Hayes to train a dozen coming two-year-olds and last night the youngsters arrived from Red Bank, N. J., in , -charge of James Rowe, Jr., there being five colts and seven fillies.- They now are in quarters a the i Kentucky Jockey Club trac.
