MORE ARRIVALS AT LOUISVILLE TRACKS LOUISVILLE Ivy March 10 The stables of Mastersou Kogers M J Lowenstein and T J Pendergast came in from New Orleans today The three racing establishments are quartered at Douglas Park Included in the Pendergast outfit is Lord Allen which was looked upon as the champion twoyearold of the winter at the Fair Grounds GroundsTrainer Trainer Alex H Gordon has taken over the horses owned by Hud Fi her which wintered at Lexington tinder the care of Uolvert Shannon The new additions to the stable include Prince Pal Hold Up Hasten On and a couple of twoyearolds Gordon also brought Patches back from Lexington There is considerable doubt as to Patches standing training and even should his legs hold out he will not ho raced until autumn autumnH H J Hrannon who has an extensive stable here is visiting his home in Kansas City CityIn In an effort to make Churchill Downs as safe as possible from fire additional water mains are l eing laid throughout lie plant and hose houses will be scattered over the grounds giving the course its own fire department departmentThe The two tracks had dried out fairly well today and as a result a large number of horses were out for gallops at both places Many twoyearolds were to be seen and the crop of youngsters appears to be Ixtter and much larger than in previous years
