SALE OF THE BOWIE TRACK PENDING HALTIMOUi Md March 10 A deal for the sale of the Howie race track property to the Mary ¬ land Jockey Club interests is pending but nothing final has been done Pimlico officials approached the state racing commission yesterday with the view of finding out if the commission would ap ¬ prove the deal 1m t the matter is said not to have come up lief on the commission iu an official way Yesterday the commission was too busy discussing the adoption of a code of rules to take up any other matters mattersThe The projected deal f r the purchase of Howie by the Maryland Jockey Club is said to be a part of a scheme which was discussed at Annapolis earlier in the winter This scheme involved a combination of the Pimlico and Ixiurel interests and the acquisi ¬ tion by them of both the Howie and the Havre de Grace tracks This combination would then bo supreme in Maryland racing
