AMERICAN HORSE FINISHES SECOND LIVERPOOL England March 18 The Grand Xational Steeplechase was run over the famous Aintree course near this city today wiih thirty six horses starting of which only four finished the course The race was won by the tenyearold bay gelding Sliaun Spadah by Easter Prize Itnsinlkii by Rushey Park 101 jHMinds and at 100 to 9 in the betting The tenyearold American horse The Bore by Orniondale Bettie Bramble by Bramble Ili2 pounds and at 0 to 1 finished second and the sevenyearold brown horse All White by White Eagle Colonia by Persimmon 135 pounds 33 to 1 was third thirdAll All the starters fell except Glenside The Bore fell at the last fence and his rider and owner H Brown broke his collarbone but remounted and camo in second The winner was ridden by F B Rees a leading amateur Eamon Beag was the favorite at o to 1 but fell in the second round of the course Turkey Buzzard 170 pounds was lead Ing when he fell A vast crowd was present Weather and going fine
