KINGS PLATE NOMINATIONS Fortysix Entries Received for 1921 Running of Canadas Historic Race TORONTO Out March 24 The historic Kings Plate the oldest stake run continuously on this continent and which will be decided this year at Woodbine Park Saturday May 21 closed with fortysix nominations three less than in 1920 The chief nominators this year are Mrs L A Living ¬ ston Thorncliffe Stable and Hrookdale Stable with five each Seagram Stable with four George M llendrie and M Hrenner with three each The Kings Plate has 7r00 added in addition to the fifty guineas the gift of His Majesty King George The first horse will receive the fifty guineas stakes and 4500 the second horsu 1500 the third 1000 and 500 goes to the breeder of the winner winnerFortyfour Fortyfour nominations were received for the Hreeders Stakes of 1922 and twentysix for the Maple Leaf Stakes of the same year The Stanley Produce Stakes of 1924 drew fiftyfive nominations and in these future events Commander J K L Hoss is well represented
