STA TISTICS OF THE BO WIE MEETING NEARLY ONE HUNDRED THOUSAND DOLLARS DISTRIB ¬ UTED DURING TWELVE DAYS OF RACING LIST OF THE WINNERS The first of the spring meetings of 1921 in Maryland came to an end April 13 with the close of the Southern Maryland Agricultural Associations twelve days of racing at Bowie Eightyfour races were run and 99715 was distributed in purses no stake races being programmed The daily average distribu ¬ tion amounted to 8309 While the fields were mostly made up of the plater division of racers the con ¬ testants were well matched in good racing condition and furnished interesting sport for the big crowds that daily found their way to Prince George Park J B Skinker and H II Holmes lead the money winning owners of which the following won 500 500or or more
