FREDERICK JOHNSON IS SUSPENDED NEW YOKK. N. Y.. July 11. Frederick Johnson, who is an influential breeder and races a few horses, has been suspended by the Jockey Club for sharp practice over the ownership of Beverly Belle, claimed out of a losing Jamaica race by Charles Quinn. one of Johnsons associates, to win at Belmont Park, as owned by Quinn. while really owned by Johnson. All rules were violated. Quinn was not punished. Beverly Belle loses the Belmom Park purse she won June 1. which goes to the credit of Max Hirsch and Dick Deadeye. and Johnson i suspended, for the lerin of the Kmpire City meeting.
