CURRENT NOTES OF THE TURF The P. A. Clark horses, in charge of -Jack Mc-Cormack, have arrived safely at Belmont Park. John Hanford will dispose of some horses in training and brood mares by auction sale during the Saratoga meeting. Reservation for the sale of several hundred Kentucky yearlings has been made at Saratoga and indications point to a busy mart there in August. William Garth shipped to Saratoga all the jumpers of the Ral Parr stable and enough of the J. S. Cosden flat racers to make up twenty-six head. Blazes is the star of the division kept at Empire City. William P. Uiggs of the Maryland Jockey Club reports that the resoiling of the Pinilico track in that section covering the turn from the rear stretch to the head of the front straightaway is being pushed io completion. The remainder of the course has been doctored in recent off periods. This work will be completed before August, so that the track will be available for yearling breaking.
