TING-A-LING saved ground on the turns. PAHASKA had little cliance after the start and closed a great gap. ALGARDI was much used in racing SURF into defeat and tired, but held on resolutely through the last half mile and outstayed DOUBLET. The latter tired after .going well for a mile and a half. SCOTLAXD YET, in closest pursuit all the way, finished gamely and would have won in another stride. DARTMOOR saved ground on the turns and outfinished SIORTIBOY. The latter, away forwardly, dropped out of contention in the first eighth, but closed up ground iu the last half, but tired finally. COURT AlEW displayed early speed. Won easily: second and third driving. BUXTIXG, displaying great speed, took the lead quickly and raced SAXTA CLARA into defeat, then drew away into an easy lead and won eased up. DEXTEROUS, troubled at the start, gained steadily and, finishing fast mid gamely, outstayed SXOB II. The latter began near the outer rail and lost ground, then closed a big gap next to the inner rail, but was in close quarters at the finish.
