5,000 YEARLING AMONG THE LOWLY One of the most striking illustrations of the lottery of buying yearlings is the superbly bred chestnut colt Sun Turret, by Sunstar Marian Hood, for which Commauder J. K. i. Ross paid o.000 at the Saratoga yearling sales of 1910. Last year Suu Turret, as a two-year-old, won the paltry sum of 00 .ir.d now we find him among the lowly entered iu the first race at Windsor Monday, a dash of three-quarters of n mile for maiden three-year-olds and over.
