FEDORA raced in closest pursuit, finished resolutely and was wearing the winner down. DISSOLUTE, on the outside for the first half, ran well, but was in close quarters through the final eighth. TOM NORRIS quit after setting a good pace to the stretch. BREEZE saved ground on all the turns and, making a fast finish, was wearing the winner down at the end. KIXBURN : was in a jam while going to the first turn and was forced to pull up.
