RACING STUD IN FLIGHT FROM TAXES . A ncir.g stud in flight before the tax commissioners is the newest sensation in Continental sport circles says the Vienna correspondent of the "Liverpool Post". The Vienna tax authorities levied on the well-known Hungarian racing stud at Poeloeske for horses run in Austrian meetings the enormous income tax of 400,000,000 kronen for the current year, nominally about 0,-000,000, but at present lt will perhaps only be 1921.sh,250,000. As the tan commissioners prepared secretly to seize the valuable horses of the stud nominated for the Austrian races as tax security, the owners of the stud were informed of the plan and they saved the horses by rushing them at midnight in huge motor lorries over the Hungarian border. The tax commissioners raced after them, but the horses proved winners in the race to the Hungarian border post.
