PLATER MAY WIN THE GRAND PRIX The Grand Prix of San Sebastian, witli a value of 5,000, one of the chief events of the Spanish turf season, which will be run on September 11, will in all probability go to a mediocre horse which lias enjoyed all of tho handicaps and advantages of its complicated condition. The Spanish turf at present finds itself almost denuded of high-class stake racers. Practically all of the Spanish cracks are campaigning in foreign lands or suffering from injuries. Brabant, Albano and Roman, three of the leading performers of the year in that country, have all suffered from more or less serious accidents. A claiming plater may easily come to the wire a winner in this great stake. Viator, in Iai Jockey. - .
