CLINCI1FIELD, off well, set the earlv pace, but met with slight interference when CASTANET crossed hint in the stretch. SAN STEFANO was always outpaced. FURIOUS lost her rider at the start. MUSTY displayed great speed niiu fenced well for the entire race, but made a faulty landing at the last jump, which cost him the race. VISTA was taken under restraint and saved under a pull to the last turn, then gradually improved her position through the stretcii and wore SQUAW MAN down to win in the last stride. SQUAW MAN set a fast early pace and raced ST. MICHAEL into defeat, but was tiring when challenged. -SIREN MAID ran well and finished gamely, but could not keep pace with the two leaders. CRYSTAL FORD dwelt at the start and had no chance afterward. ST. MICHAEL tired badly in the last quarter.
