NEWMARKET RACING RESULTS Milenko Best in Jockey Club Stakes Tetratema and Polyhistor Among Winners. LONDON, England, October 5. The results at Newmarket last week were as follows: Jockey Club Stakes of 5,000, run over the last mile and three-quarters of the Cesarewitch course, was decided at Newmarket Thursday and resulted as follows: J. A. de Rothschilds Milenko, br. c, 3, by Bomba Mrs. Fussy Lister; 4 to 1 1 Lord Astors W. A. A. C, b. f, 3, by Swyn- ford Good and Gay Brennan; 7 to 1 2 Sir H. Birds Monarch, ch. c, 3, by Tracery Teofani Childs 3 There were eight starters. Milenko won by two lengths, samo distance separating second and third. Lord Astors Long Suit, b. f, 3, by Lemberg Third Trick, carried the second colors of that nobleman and was placed seventh. Snailwcll Stakes of 5 each, with ,000 added, for all ages, Rous Course, five-eighths, won by Major D. McCalmonts Tetratema, gr. c, 4, by The Tetrarch Scotcli Gift. The colt carried 138 pounds and won by a length and a half from A. H. Gunns Fiddle-de-dee, br. g, 4, by Neil Gow Jewelled Wings, which was in receipt of three pounds. Clare Welter Handicap of 0 each, with ,500 added, was won by Douald Frasers Kama, ch. m; 0, by Bridge of Earn Eryholme. Earna carried 120 pounds and covered the mile distance in fast time. Boscowen Post Stakes of 00 each, for two-year-olds, at five-eighths of a mile, and 134 yards, was accounted for by Sol Joels Polyhistor, b. c, 2, by Polymelus Lady Flo. Two ran. Great Foal Stakes of 0 each starter, with ,000 added, for three-year-olds, was won by Lord Howard de Waldens Red Rosette, ch. f, 3, by Stedfast Syndicalism. Hopeful Stakes of 25 each, with ,500 added, for two-year-olds, at five-eighths of a mile. Won by Lady Fitzgeralds Sister in Law, br. f, 2, by Lemberg Own Sister, by Dark Ronald. Great Eastern Railway Handicap of 0 each, with ,000 added, at a distance of three-quarters of a mile, for three-year-olds and over. Won by Cnpt. G. 0. H. Davys Black Gown. br. c, 3, by Earla Mor Total Eclipse, carrying 129 pounds. First October Nursery Handicap of 0 each, with ,500 added, Rous Course, five-eighths of a mile. Won by Lord Wyfolds Black Gauntlet, b. c, 4, by John oGaunt Usaa, by three lengths. Black Gauntlet came out of the race exceedingly lame.
