The latter began slowly, but saved ground on the stretch turn and finished, wtih a rush. DAIRYMAN raced well up from the start, but tired after taking the lead. MEDUSA AVas much used in racing with the winner and also tired. SISTER EMBLEM ran well.. AMACKASSIN quit. CHIEF BARTIIELL ran but on the far turn. SERVITOR was much used in racing GRENADIER into defeat and tired. The latter showed thu most speed for a half mile, then quit. CHASSEUR ran a poor race.
