;W. R. COE LEASES TWO SIRES Both Harmonicon and Sweep On Leave Himyar Stud for Other Farms. NEW YORK. N Y., January lti.— W. R. Coe has leased Harmonicon, chestnut, 1910, by Disguise — Harpterhard, by Amphion. to William Bell Watkins, Berryville. Va., where he will make the season of 1332. The late James R. Keene bred Harmonicon. In 1909 he was sent to England and Joyner trained him in the Whitney colors. He was a good youngster there, winning four races as a two-year-old and beating such good colts as the 1913 Derby winner Aboyeur and Diadumenos. In 1913 he won the King Oeorge Stake-, under 130 pounds, at Goodwood, and, coming back here, won the Belmont Park High-weight Autumn Handicap, under 140 pounds, in the Thompson colors and trained by James Rowe. Mr. Coe also leased to L. Moseley, Hopkiusville. Ky.. Sweep on. bay. 191H. by Sweep — Yodlcr. by Meddler. Among other races. Sweep On won the Whirl and Gmnd Uahm Hotel Slakes at two and was second to Billy Kelly in the Orah Bag llandlraf. three-quarters, in 1:11%. At three h - wn« never unplaced and was third to Sir Barton and Eternal in the Preaknesfstakc-. He won the Richmond Handicap, six and a half furlongs, in 1:17%, equaling the American record, held jointly by him and the Brook-dale Nymph ovr the Belmont Park course. Sweep On was second in the Suburban Handicap to Corn Tasacl, beaten a neck, in 2:02-.: second to sir Barton in the Belmont Stakes. 1 3-H miles in 2:17%, a new American record, then, though since displaced by Man o Wars 2:14%. Both of these horses have stood at Himyar Stud fir the last two years. a o
