ONTARIO TRACKS TAXATION Provincial Government to Exact Percentage on Betting Receipts. TORONTO. Out., February 2.1.— Legislation imposing additional taxation on all Ontario tracks is understood to be contemplated by the provincial government at the present session of the legislature. Resides the present heavy per diem levies on the various associations it is now proposed to exact a percentage of all betting receipts.
