PETER BROWN, lucky in escaping interference and s.iving much ground on the turns, showed the most speed from the start and raced into a long lead in the last eighth. ANITA HAMPTON raced in aeatest pursuit and finished gamely, but was tiring at the end and ju*t lasted for second place. CARMEN PANTAOES suffered from interference soon after the start, but came fast and gamely near the end. KOBE was forced back soon after the start and had to race wide, but finished with a rush.
