STAR RIDERS IN BAD FALL J. Huntamer and C. Studer Seriously Injured by Fall at Tijuana Track. TI.H.WA. Mexico. April 1. — Jockeys J. Huntamer and C. Studer were seriously injured iu a bad fall that occurred during the running of the second race this afternoon. Studer had the mount on Evening Stories and just as that filly reached the five-sixteenths post she stumbled and fell, throwing Studer heavily. Huntamer was astride Hoda Irish and the latter stumbled over the prostrate Evening Stories, also throwing Huntamer. Both boys were rushed to a San Diego hospital where it was found that Studer had sustained a fracture of the left collar bone, while the extent of Huntamers injuries are unknown as yet. Hunlaraer suffered no fractured bones, bur he may be injured inter-nally. Hp is still unconscious and his condition is considered to be serious. Huntamer and Studer have been the riding stars of this meeting. Tha former is the leading rider of the American turf at present and has made an enviable reputation here during the winter. He has ridden 111 winners this year to date, quite a feat for any jockey in such a short space of time. At the conclusion of this meeting he was to go to England to try his luck abroad. « *
