CARMEN PANTAGES raced in closest pursuit all the way and responded gamely when called on, but she could not improve her position. WRANGLE, hard ridden throughout, finished fast and gamely. ARMEDEE showed excellent speed for the first quarter while racing on the outside, but tired in the stretch drive. ELIZABETH BRICK ouit badly. GEORGE CHOOS ran green. The hitter began I io-.vly, but improved his position steadily on the outride and finished fast. ALEXANDER HAMILTON til well. MALVOLIO ouit in the final eighth. HCKY GIRL was in a tangle all the way.
