TREDENNIS FOUND HIMSELF The most striking modern Instance of horse study and intelligent handling of an individual is the Irish sire Tredennis which when racing could not run fast enough to keep himself warm Albert Lowry bought him eventually for 500 and got the money back a thousand times over He relied simply on the horses breeding and gave him a chance It was a case of sheer specula ¬ tion Mr Lowry or any other breeder might make a hundred similar experiments and meet with failure every time
