DUFFERDT PARS OPENS TODAY TORONTO Ont June 6 From present In ¬ dications tho Metropolitan Racing Association will bo favored with good weather and a fast track for the opening of tho spring meeting at Dufferin Park tomorrow An excellent j card has been provided for the occasion tho class of horses being the best that has ever been carded to perform over tho west side course There is an abundance of competent riding material on tho scene stabling accom ¬ modations are at a premium and everything points to a most successful meeting Since the last meeting here a new addition has been built to tho grandstand doubling its size The stand will now accommodate a crowd of 4000 i iTho Tho officials for tho meeting will be Ed ¬ ward Cole presiding judge P E Gallon as ¬ sociate judge W R Norvell racing secre ¬ tary and Elmer Wilson starter
