CHARLSS J. CRAIGMILE raced In closest pursuit of the early pacemakers and. coming fast on the stretch turn, raced into the lead, but was forced to be ridden hard to outstay TURNABOUT. Tha Utter was forced to race on the outside all the way, but was wearing the winner down at the finish. MUMBO JUMBO raced FATHER DAMIEN into defeat in the first half, but tired in the stretch. COTE DOR was outpaced in the early running, but moved up resolutely in the last half and, saving gronnd on the stretch turn, finished fast snd got up to win in the flmil strides. CHLORIS set a good pace snd raced DANDY into defeat, then drew away into a loug lead, but tired and swerved out la the final drive. DANDY ran well and, after seeming to tire, came again at the end. JAY KAP showed the most early speed for a short distance and raced gamely. PROSIT could not improve his position. BRIGANNA fell at the twelfth Jump and AMMUNITION lost his rider at the eleventh. The Utter was rushed into the led and finished gamely, bvt was tiring thiough the final sixteenth. ST. QUENTIN tet a fast early pace and aaved ground on the stretch turn. FAIR GAIN ran fairly well. SAILOR closed a gap In the last eighth and got up to outfinlsh FAIR VIRGINIA. The latter raced In closest pursuit to the last eighth, but was forced wide on the stretch turn aud tired.
