THREE FOR JOCKEY MARTIN CLEVELAND, Ohio, July 17. A series of claiming races made up the card at Maple Heights Park this afternoon, but despite this fact a good crowd turned out to witness the sport. Weather and track conditions were again most favorable. A. K. Millers recent purchase, Penwell, scored a rather easy victory from a bulky band of long-distance performers in the fourth race. An accident came with tho running of this dash. In some unaccountable manner Sadie D., when racing in a contending position approaching the stretch turn, broke a hind leg midway between the ankle and hock. She was destroyed. Tho riding of jockey E. Martin was a feature. He piloted three winners Uncle Bert, Adventure and Link Boy. The first-mentioned scored with much to spare, but Adventure and Link Boy were hard pressed to win by narrow margins. Lou Widrig never left the result in much doubt during tho running of the concluding race, leading throughout by a safe margin.
