Won driving; second and third the same. PIETRUS went to the front with a rush and drew away while rounding the far turn, but was tiring at the end. HAMET saved ground when entering the homestretch and, finishing fast, -was wearing the winner down at the end. RADICAL, closed ,t big gap from a slow beginning. FATHER DAMIIJN and TOPMOST quit after showing speed. TIKEH ran well. CONSUL, closed a gap. Won easily; second and third driving LILT followed the early pacemaker closely to the stretch turn, where she moved up on the ontside Willi a rush and meed into an easy Ka1 in the last eighth. HEELTAPS was much used in racing SYMPATHY into defeat and tired btidly after taking the lead. SYMPATHY set a fast early pace, but had to be hard ridden to outstay POPPYH. The latter finished fast. FAIR GAIN took a quick lead, saved ground on the first turn and, withstanding challenges from ESTKRO and DUKE JOHN in the early running, gamely outstayed FINERY in the final drive. The latter moved up swiftly through the homestretch, but tired after getting to the winners head. DUKE JOHN raced well, but tired and just lasted long enough to outstay BY JIMINY. HAMAN closed a gap and was on the outside for the entire race. SOLID ROCK also made up cround and finished fast. FLIBBIfRTYG IBBET quit. IRON BOY set the pace to the far turn and quit badly.
