MARGARET WARK gained steadily in the last quarter and was rapidly overhauling the leaders at the end. JOELLA J. wits away In a tangle and could never get up. Won driving; second and third the same. PRINCE WELLES came fast on the outside when well into the stretch and took the lead at the eighth post, but was ridden out at the end to outstay GOLDIE S. The latter raced well and Gnished fast and gamely. SERBIAN began slowly, but closed a gap and finished fast. RIJDMON set a fast pace until midway of the stretch, then tired. BLOSSOM HOUSE ran well and finished gamely, but doing his best to outstay MISS CRESTWOOD. The latter gained steadily through the last quarter. McGEES PINK tired after displaying early speed.
