Won driving; second and third the same. DELHIMAR, away forwardly. saved ground on the turns and raced into a good lead, but was tiring through the final sixteenth and just lasted to win. STOTO raced on the outside under slight restraint and did not respond when called on on the stretch turn, but was gaining at the end. HARMONIOUS raced gamely, but floundered in the going. BLACK BETTY closed an immense gap from a slow beginning. BILL McCLOY set the pace briefly and quit. KIRK LADY, away quickly, set a fast pace and, finishing gamely, outstayed VENNIE. The latter came fast on the outside of the winner, but was swerving out in the final sixteenth. ATTORNEY raced gamely and held the others safe, but could not get near the winner. JACQUES was pocketed on the inside on the backstretch, but came on the outside of the leaders and closed a big gap. GRACE MAYERS set a good pace to the stretch and always held BRILLIANT JESTER safe. The latter raced under restraint for the first three-quarters, but quit .when called on.
