LEXINGTON NOTES AND NEWS LEXINGTON, Ky., August 30. G. W. J. Bissell of Pittsburgh is here to inspect his stallion Rapid Water and his brood mares and sucklings at Beaumont Farm. Also to have his three yearlings by Rapid Water shipped to Pimlico to be broken and trained. They are to go from here Wednesday in an express car, of which they will be the only occupants, except an attendant, unless someone should appear unexpectedly with something to go that way. John J. Troxler arrived last night from Saratoga and will be in Kentucky for the fall racing campaign. Hugh Hunter, who for several years has been identified with copper production in Peru, is home for a visit to his brother, Stewart Hunter, who resides at Versailles. He today said that he had made visits to the principal race courses in South America and in England during the last few months, and that he had found racing in a flourishing condition in those countries.
