i : TOUGH ON THE PAESONS CONNEAUT LAKE, Pa., August 30. J. A. Parson suffered an attack of typhoid fever at Erie, Pa., Saturday and was removed to the Mercy Hospital at Toledo, Ohio, where his jockey, G. Williams, and his son, C. V. Parson, are confined suffering from the same disease. In his absence R. E. Buckley saddled the Parson horses here today and he had a busy afternoon, sending six starters to the post. Due to her erratic actions while at the post the entry of the filly Miss Crestwood will be refused here in future. She will be fired for oslets by owner J. W. Pinkham and turned out until next year.
