ARCHIE ALEXANDER raced forwardly all the way and, gaining steadily, would have won in a few more strides. JANKU was speedy, but began tiring after reaching the stretch. CASH was prominent aU the way and, finishing gamely, just lasted to hold second place. POMPOUS began slowly, but came fast in the stretch and would have been second but for coming wide on the last turn. SEA WRACK finished well. PEQUOT had no mishaps.
