RACKET ran wcU and began from the extreme outside. DRUID HILL showed the most early speed, but tired. TASSEL began very slowly. Won easily; second and third driving. FAIR MAC was under restraint for the first turn of the field, then raced to the leaders with a rush and, taking the lead, drew away and won in a canter. KATHRYN HARLAN was close up throughout and made a giiinc finish. ROYAL ARCn showed the most speed, but made a bad landing at the eleventh jump and almost unseated his rider. PLAIN BILL ran well 1 and had no mishaps. FLEER quit.
