o THOKNCLLFFES MUTUEL TAX TORONTO, Ont., September 21. The provincial treasurers department received 8,-000 less from the fall meeting at Thorncliffe than from the spring meeting, according to figures issued today. The total wagers at the meeting amounted to ,257,806, from which the government received 12,880.30. In the spring the wagers amounted to ,118,310 and the governments percentage was 70,-915.50.
