The daily average distribution amounted to ?S,906. The attendance was surprisingly large for this time of the year and kept up remarkably well, despite the fact that the racing was not at all times up to the usual high standard. The disqualification of Betty Beall after finishing first in the rich Breeders Futurity and the subsequent ruling off the turf of jockey W. Taylor and his brother, J. T. Taylor, were the outstanding incidents of the meeting. J. S. Ward was the largest monetary winner among the owners, of whom the following won ?500 or more each: Owner. 1st. 2d. 3d. Amt. Ward. J.
