, 7 , THIS CAME FROM ENGLAND Just before the first race on Saturday, which was won by a horse named Thief, one of the delightful priests who annually take holiday in England greeted the well-known sportsman Robert S. Sievier and after a pastoral benediction inquired in a fine Irish brogue : "Now, Mr. Sievier, do tell me the winner." "Well, youre a padre?" questioned Mr. Sievier. "Most certainly." Very well," retorted Mr. Sievier, "convert the Thief into money."
