ARGENTINE STAKE TO RICO Rico, a son of Picacero and Realeza, won the Jockey Club Stakes at the Palermo course, Buenos Aires, Argentina, September 3, from Mameluke and Malal Tuel. The race was worth ?S,000 to the winner and was at a mile and a quarter. The sire of Rico is by Bridge of Canny, an English stallion, and his dam traces back to Isonomy. There were only three starters in the race.
