KNIGHTHOOD passed BROWN BILL in the first half and, taking a good lead, won going away. RADIANT raced well and finished fast. SWEET AND PRETTY made up ground and finished with a rush. PAPILLON began slowly and closed a big gap. PANASAIN quit in the stretch. GOLD MOUNT was shuflled back soon after the start. HUCKLEBERRY FINN began very slowly. MOCO ran a good race, stayed the route well and would have won Willi a better ride. JOAN OF ARC raced gamely, but just lasted to outstay MOODY. Tha latter finished fast and close up. CAROL was outpaced in the early running, but saved ground on the last turn and, finishing with a belated rush, would have won in a few more Strides. SWEETHEART tired after racing into the lead on the last turn. MOONRAKER ran well and had no mishaps. BRILLIANCE quit. Scratched -C38S!Curland, 105; GC072 Thessaly, 102. FAIRWAY", close up throughout, responded gamely when called on and outstayed PAUL JONES at the end. The latter, outrun in the early running, closed a gap and finished with a rush. ALL FAIR raced BROMELIA into defeat and finished gamely, but tired when the winner challenged. BROMELIA set a fast pace, but tired and gave way when challenged. BY JIMINY was always outrun.
