MADDEN SALE AT LATONIA LATONIA. Ky., October 26. A chestnut filly by Ogden Astrology proved to be the star of the sale of the twelve yearlings consigned by J. E. Madden, which took place in the Latonia paddock under the direction of the Kentucky Sales Company prior to the races this afternoon. The youngster fell to Montfort Jones on his bid of ,400. The sale netted a total of 5,600, an average of ,300 per head. The auctioneer announced at the sale that the yearlings had just come from the pasture and had not been broken.
