Won driving; second and third the ?ime. SILVER MAID set a good pace all the way, but tired and just lasted long enough to outfinish EAU GALLIE. The latter moved up rapidly after rounding the far turn, but was swerving out all through the last eighth. FRANK ERR began slowly, but came fast on the outside and outgamed AUNTIE EM at the finish. CORLEY saved ground on all turns, raced RED CHIEF into defeat and withstood SQUAW CHIEFS challenge, but was ridden out to hold the fast coming CHOW safe. The latter was forced to come wide into the stretch and was running fastest of all at the finish. SQUAW CHIEF tired in the stretch after racing into even terms with the winner.
