MAY BODINE, under hard riding, finished fast and gamely after losing ground by coming wide into the stretch. TABLEAU DHONNEUR came from far back into a fast-going third. MAHONY raced gamely. TENDER SETH raced into the lead soon after the start and, finishing gamely, outstayed SPIN-BALL at the end. SPINBALL was hard ridden through the last eighth and outfinished BODY GUARD. The latter ran well, but tired near the end. NICHOL also tired in the last eighth. SAM LORCH ran a good race. GREEN SPRING ran poorly. WALNUT HALL came fast in the last quarter and outstayed CLAYMORE. The latter, much the best, was repeatedly taken back and given a bad ride in general, but finished well. TWINKLE BLUE ran a good race. A. N. AKIN and VIRGO were always far back. FINCASTLE and MYSTERIOUS GIRL tired. RADIO suffered from interference on several occasions and beginning slowly, but was running fast at the end. JOUETT ran weU and so did MERRIMAC. RUNQUOI sot a good pace the last eighth and quit. AMERICAN ACE was taken back in the early running and, after racing into the lead, tired in the last eighth. PEGASUS, almost left at the post, ran as K best and closed an immense gap.
