GREATEST FALL MEETING Latonias Autumn Racing of 31 Days Immensely Successful ! Total of S101,4C3 Distributed In Stakes and Tiirses arontfort .Tones Gathers Lions Share ol the Trizcs. 4 The Latonia fall meeting, -which closed Saturday, was the most successful in the history of that popular course. There Averc thirty-one days of racing, from September 30 to November 1, during which time 217 races were run and 01,463 distributed in stakes and purses, the daily average distribution amounting to 2,950. Montfort .Tones has reason to feel satisfied with the showing his stable made at Latonia. Horses from his establishment won fourteen races, including the rich Latonia Championship Stakes and 3,963 in prize money. The Idle Hour Stock Farm Stable of R TL Bradley also did well with seven victories and 5,430 to his credit M. Gold-blatt was third on the list with 3,730 and the Florisant Stable next in order with 2,143. Among the horses Ilockminister, by virtue of his Latonia Championship success, tops the list of the winners, with Out Oui second and Lady Madcap third. J. Corcoran carried off the riding honors with twenty-six winning mounts to twenty-four to the credit of E. Kennedy, while J. Owens had twenty-two and J. Heupel twenty.
