A. V. THOMAS BUYS A FARM LOUISVILLE, Ky., November 25. A. V. Thomas returned from Maryland with only three horses. He sold several privately during the summer, while he lost quite a few in claiming races. Thomas purchased a farm on the New Cut Road, just outside tho city limits, since he came back, and took his trio of thoroughbreds there for the winter. Ho plans to breed horses in the future and expects to acquire a stallion and some brood marea before spring rolls around, mares beforo spring rolls around. Mr. Thomas plans to race quite an extensive stable next year.
