PURCHASES VIRGINIA FARM J. S. Cosden Closes Deal for Estate of J. T. Gwathmey and Will Establish Big Stud. BOWIE, Mi, November 27. J. S. Cosden has just completed negotiations for the purchase of the big Virginia estate of J. Temple Gwathmey and he will make it the home of his extensive thoroughbred holdings. This is a show place of Virginia and Mr. Cosden will move his thoroughbreds there shortly and establish his breeding farm. In all there will be eighty horses sent to the Virginia farm, fifty-eight racers and twenty-two brood mares. The stallion Crimper will be used for a stock horse and it is possible that tho three-year-old Snob IL will also be sent to the stud. There is no more raod-ernly equipped thoroughbred farm to be found than this one and among other attributes it has a first-class mile turf track for the training of the horses.
