Won driving; second and third the same. AL STEBLKR, helped by the going and away well, took the lead at once and, responding gamely when ridden hard, outstayed YORICK in a game finish. The latter raced in closest pursuit from the start and lost ground when coming into the stretch, but came again near the end and made a game finish. FLYING DEVIL was ridden -wide most of the way, but ran well and was going fast at the end. FERNANDAS ran a good race and only tired in the last seventy yards. Won easily; second and third driving. MONASTERY, running freely in the going and away well, raced into a long lead at once and, finishing well, outstayed LAST EFFORT through the last eighth. LAST EFFORT had to be ridden wide on the last turn, but came fast through the last sixteenth and headed OGARITK in the last seventy yards. OGAR1TE raced prominently from the start, but tired near the end. SEWELL COMBS had no mishaps and was always outpaced. TING-A-LING wheeled at the start and impeded THWO, causing both to be left. TAYLOR began tiring and, swerving over near the end, seemingly impeded the latter and won going away. COL. TAYLOR showed the most speed, but tired in the last sixteenth and had to be eased up slightly near tho end. PAUL MICOU had no mishaps and was lucky to be third. GOLDEN FL0S3 was away slowly and, when going best and wearing the leaders down fast, was crowded back and, stumbling badly five yards from tho finish, lost his rider. MARVIN MAY, hard ridden and away well, sliowed the most speed all the way and, after seeming beaten in the last sixteenth, came again under hard riding and outstayed MY REVERIE. The latter, closest up from the start, appeared the winner when a sixteenth out, but tired in the last few strides. BEES WING began tiring badly after reaching the stretch. THE WIT was badly outrun, but was going well at the end.
