JOE BLAIRS OWNER DEAD Chas A Norvell Succumbs to At ¬ tack of Heart Disease Man and Horse Inseparable SAN DIEGO Cal January 5 Charles A Norvell veteran owner of the veteran sprint ¬ er Joe Blair succumbed to an attack of heart failure Thursday morning at the Tijuana track The end came suddenly and those who discovered his sad passing used heroic methods to resuscitate him but unsuccess ¬ fully fullyNorvell Norvell had been the owner of this cne thoroughbred Joe Blair for many years and man and horse were almost inseparable When his body was carried to the stable the old horse seemed to sense that the grim reaper had claimed his master and neighed in a manner which brought tears to the eyes of the horsemen who understand the intelli ¬ gence of the thoruushtretl It was reported that throughout the day Joe Blair had re ¬ fused food or water and seemed frantic in his stall stallThe The remains of the deceased were brought to San Diego to await the arrival of the aged horsemans wife who is en route from Tecumcarie N M to take charge of the funeral arrangements
