JONES HORSES WINTER WEL To Campaign at Havre and Pimlico Later Shipping to Kentucky NEW YORK N Y February 9 Kay Spence who came to New York from the JonesAudley farm in Virginia to arrange some of the details of the sale of The Finn reported that the Montfort Jones horses had all wintered exceedingly well wellIt It is the intention to make an early start at Bowie where the Jones silks met with much success last fall The Maryland cam ¬ paign will take in both Havre de Grace and Pmlico where there will be at least one starter in the Preakness PreaknessFrom From Pimlico the string will be shipped to Churchill Downs and the horses will be raced in Kentucky until August when a move will be made to Saratoga SaratogaHarry Harry Lunsford one of the riders under contract to the stable is to report March 1 and II Stutts who is riding in Havana and W Pool at present riding at Tijuana will both join the stable at Bowie BowieSpence Spence reported that there were two foals at Audley farm this year They are both colts and one a son of Sir Barton and Irish Lassie by Celt and the other a son of Pen ¬ nant and Matin by Broomstick BroomstickIt It is expected that Mallard the dam of Captain Alccck will foal within a short time
